The System 2000 features...
The System 2000 is a flexible and productive collating and bookletmaking system that can turn out different styles of booklet with no fuss for short to mid run finishing requirements. Why buy? For business owners
The System 2000 is ideal for short to volume booklet making applications, opening up improved service to clients by bringing these finishing operations in house. It is a highly viable way to expand the product range a print operation can offer into well-presented booklets as well as side and corner stapled products. The simplicity of operation thanks to an easy to follow touch screen control panel means that the System 2000 needs no special operator training while the suction feeding head can cope with a wide range of papers to expand the types of product that can be supplied. Where these cannot be finished by stitching or stapling, sets are collated ready for off line finishing in the stacker.
Why buy? For operators
There is easy access to all parts of the line starting with the feeder trays. These include air knife separation to prevent doubled sheets being fed. An inverter ensures that the sheets remain in the correct printed order. Once fed, sheets travel in a path through the bookletmaker, again offering easy access and a clear view of the paper path. Optical mark recognition is used to determine the end of each set. A bar code reader can be fitted to increase the sophistication of this system and audit that all pages are present in the finished booklet.
