The Ultra 145A / 205A is a standalone coater for applying an all-over uv varnish to both digitally and offset printed sheets. It is a robust solution for printers wanting to add value to printed work without using outside suppliers and at lower cost than laminating. Thanks to fully automatic set up the Ultra 145A / 205A coater can be used in any environment. An option Infra Red lamp is required for coating work from a wax based digital print device.

The Ultra 145A / 205A is an ideal way to capture added value by bringing in house a service, which might otherwise have to be handled by a trade supplier. It includes high degrees of automation for ease of use, including 50 memory settings and automatic set up of three processing rollers. A compact design allows it to fit where there is limited space available. This is also one of the very few UV Coaters that is ULc approved for use in Canada.

Touch screen control panel makes set up easy, aided by a 50 setting memory. Self-cleaning system eases the end of shift cleaning issue as well as cleaning between jobs. Automatic lift away of the lamp during a paper jam eliminates risk of unwanted heat build up. Air knives prevent lightweight stock sticking to application rollers while the conveyor will adjust to ensure that the paper is passed under the lamps for an even cure.
